INFORMATION NEEDED FOR INVENTORY AND APPRAISALS

 

To help ensure timely turn around we have provided a partial list of desired information for various items that are necessary to complete most appraisals. This is not a complete list of all items to be placed on the I&A but covers the major ones that we typically deal with. Providing as much of this information as possible with the I & A will save time and correspondence.

 

 

Attachment 1 – Items Petitioners do:

Cash Only Items

 Bank accounts

 CD’s

 Money Market accounts off of brokerage accounts

 

Things to include in your I&A or letter;

Vehicles

 VIN Number

 Make

 Model

 Mileage

 

Attachment 2 – Items Probate Referees do:

All other items

 Do not fill in value amounts, please list suggested values in letter if you want

 Send backup documents from any specialized appraisers; coins, guns, etc.

 

Stocks

 CUSIP Numbers

 On brokerage accounts the statement closest to the Date Of Value

 # of Shares

 

All Real Property

 Assessors Parcel Numbers and Address. On major properties, name and phone number

of person to contact with questions.

 Let tenants know we will be coming out

 Let us know if some one has died on the property

 Give info on locked gates

 Condition or special issues

 Irrigation System (Sprinkled, Flood etc.)

 Irrigation District or indicate by well if not in district

 If there are significant assets (real estate, inventories, rolling stock etc) they may have to

be appraised by us or an outside professional. Please contact for more information on a

Personal Property

 If its common everyday furnishings put as one item i.e. Household Furnishings

 List special items i.e. art, antiques, guns

 Include any appraisals in your possession

 Pictures of property help

Notes

 Actual payment schedule

 Copy of the Note (Not Trust Deed)

 

Reappraisal for sale

 Information of any pending sale/listing
